Communication interface KTS 550 OEM

Communication interfaces or VCI (vehicle communication interface) represent the interface between the OBD plug (SAE J1962) in the vehicle and an offboard diagnostics device (e.g. a PC). This allows them to transmit data between the vehicle and offboard diagnostics devices. The main function of these modules consists of the communication between offboard diagnostics device and the ECU in the vehicle. A variety of communications protocols are used for this purpose.

The KTS 550 OEM represents the convenient universal solution for ECU diagnostics with integrated 2-channel measuring technology.

    • CAN ISO 11898 ISO 15765-4 (OBD)
    • SAE J1850VPW
    • SAE J1850PWM

  • 2-channel oscilloscope
  • Connection to PC via USB or serial interface
  • Connection to OBD diagnosis socket via ISO-CAN changeover adapter or via a combination of universal adapter cable and vehicle manufacturer-specific adapter cable
  • Connection of measuring instrument via measuring cable
